Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions cover all event bookings with the Cocktail Shaker Boys.

Cancellation charges

Upon agreement of an event date with the Cocktail Shaker Boys, a deposit becomes payable. This is 30% of the quoted fee where the client (or host venue) is supplying the drink. It will be a higher percentage where the Cocktail Shaker Boys supply the spirits and liqueurs. This deposit must be made in order to secure the booking. The deposit is refundable in the event of cancellation no later than 1 month before the day of the event.

Event Cancellations & Postponements

  • More than 1 month – 100% refund
  • Between 22 days and 28 days – 75% refund
  • Between 15 days and 21 days – 50% refund
  • Between 7 days and 14 days – 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days – No refund

All cancellations and postponements of agreed event dates must be communicated to the offices of Cocktail Shaker Boys in writing. This may be done via e-mail to info@cocktailshakerboys.co.uk. We strongly advise clients to take out appropriate insurance cover to provide for the payment of such charges.  

 

Payment
The remaining balance is due on the event date. Any other incidental costs (such as the provision of rare spirits and liqueurs) will be invoiced separately. Payment is due on such invoices no later than 7 days after the date of the final invoice.  There is an administrative charge of £30.00 for late payment.

Additional terms

The individual making the booking shall accept overall responsibility for the payment of any outstanding accounts. Payment should be made payable to Mr. A. Seaward.

We require notice of approximate numbers at the time of booking your event. Final numbers must be advised to us at least 10 days prior to the function.

Any damage to Cocktail Shaker Boys equipment by the client or guests will be charged at the full replacement cost on the final invoice.

Force Majeure

If for any reason due to circumstances beyond our control, for example, but not limited to strike, labour dispute, acts of God, civil disturbance, war, national or local disaster, the Cocktail Shaker Boys are unable to fulfill our obligations, the liability of the Cocktail Shaker Boys to the customer shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer to the Cocktail Shaker Boys.
