Cocktail Shaker Boys were back in action at the Angel Hotel providing cocktails for the Market Harborough Breakfast Club. Well in truth it was Cocktail Shaker Boy plus one of  our team of foxicologists as main man Loxton was on a train from London !

We served up a range of carefully selected Xmas cocktails (well, yes of course, they’re always carefully selected) for the group of 20, before they went through for their Christmas meal. We had great back up support from Eileen of the Angel, and we served up the following cocktails – which seemed to all go down equally well – not sure there was a clear winner in terms of popularity.

Grasshopper - equal measures of cream, creme de menthe and creme de cacao. Became known as an Aero by the party goers as the evening wore on !

Kir Royale - creme de cassis (Ribena with attitude !) Topped up with sparkling white wine.

Green Apple Martini - Double shot of gin, double shot of Apple Sourz and single shot of Monin green apple syrup.

Tequila Sunrise - We make this with one part Tequila to 4 parts chilled orange juice. Just drop a dash of grenadine syrup in to create the fabulous glow.

Pacific Sunrise - our own home grown concoction which is half a glass of orange juice and pineapple juice in equal quantities, then topped up with lemonade and then again a drop of grenadine for the trademark glow.

If you want any more advice or cocktail making tips or want to try these over Christmas,  just e-mail us fun@cocktailshakerboys.co.uk and we’ll help in any way we can. Happy mixing and happy Xmas.
