Cocktail shots. Now this is something you can try at home, especially if you want to experiment with different cocktails without making full quantities. It is also (of course) highly sociable as you can share them with all your friends and ask for their thoughts in return as tasting notes. I made 6 last nightÂ

Cocktail shots - 6 of the best
From left to right ;
-
Brave Bull – Gold tequila and Kahlua
-
B52 – Baileys, Cointreau and Tia Maria
-
Belly Dancer ? – Vodka, Chamberyzette and Monin Rose syrup (home developed one, so not decided on a name yet !)
-
Sicilian Kiss – Southern Comfort and Amaretto
-
Tequila Sunrise – Tequila, orange juice and grenadine syrup
-
Green Apple Martini – Gin, Apple Sourz and Monin green Apple syrup
Had 2 guests round for dinner, so we shared and tried the above range of cocktail shots. Worked well, will try it again. No blenders, shakers or ice used in the making of these drinks so dead easy to make. Top tip though – only do this with guests who aren’t riddled with disease !! Sharing a glass between 4 of you isn’t a tip you’ll find in any food hygiene manual – but then you’ve got to live a little haven’t you ?!
Excellent photo skills i must say. I want you to do cocktails for my 18th please andrew.
