Now for the fun bit. Choosing your cocktail menu! You may have already read that we generally run with a cocktail menu of 5+2 : that’s a choice of 5 cocktails and 2 non-alchoholic mocktails. Some customers opt for a menu of 6 cocktails instead.

We will put together a menu for you to suit your guests. Over the years, we’ve learned what people like. We’ll ask you for the age profile of your guests and the female : male split. We’ll put together a suggested menu to fit. A hen party menu for a group of hens will look very different for a gentleman’s 70th birthday party for instance.

On the next few pages you will find mention of some of the cocktails we supply. Hopefully, it’ll whet your appetite. And if anything in particular stands out as a must have, let us know. We’d encourage you to try some new cocktails from our list alongside your favourites. Who knows? We may just introduce you to your new favourite cocktail. In the meantime, we’ll work on coming up with a suggested menu for you all.

Re-fashioned cocktail

Re-fashioned

Bourbon, espresso, chocolate bitters, simple syrup, orange oil

A great take on your Old-Fashioned. Quality bourbon brought up to date with a little coffee, and some funky chocolate bitters, plus some sugar syrup stirred it. It’s all about the bourbon. A great sipper.

New England

Bourbon, pressed apple juice, maple spice syrup

If Autumn was a cocktail, this is what it would taste like. Warming and sweet notes of Bourbon, sit comfortably with refreshing apple. We also add our American twist: a little maple spice to make a perfect blend.

Espresso Martini

Espresso coffee, Vodka, Kahlua, Crème de Cacao

Welcome to Spring. A modern day classic cocktail fresh out of the 90s, with a twist. Based on coffee, including both the natural product and the addition of the coffeeness of Kahlua. A vodka base, we use vanilla vodka, and a little chocolatey crème de cacao to finish it with a little sweetness. Smooth and enlivening.

Rose Martini

Rosadka Martini

Lanique rose liqueur, Martini rosato vermouth, rose syrup, rhubarb bitters

A traditional Martini with a modern twist. Think spirity Martini meets Turkish delight.  Beautiful rose tinted Lanique mixes with the fruity rosato vermouth. Add a little rose syrup to bring out the rose flavour and some fruity bitters to cut through the sweetness.

Bitter Cherry Martini

Bitter Cherry Martini

Gin, Bold cherry spirit, Noilly Prat dry vermouth, Monin cherry syrup

Another one of our twists on a Martini. Featuring the slightly bitter Bold cherry spirit, with a gin base, plus classy dry vermouth to make it a proper Martini. And a little cherry syrup to balance out the bitterness.

Aperol Spritz

Aperol Spritz

Aperol, Prosecco, soda water

This is a modern day classic already. The world’s top selling spritz and a Mediterranean holiday favourite (remember them?!) A double shot of Prosecco, with sparkly Prosecco and a dash of soda.

English Garden cocktail recipe

English Garden

Gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, sugar syrup, pressed apple juice, soda water, mint

Ok, so this cocktail has lots of ingredients. But this is Summer in a glass. Ever so fashionable gin combines well with the taste of elderflower. The rest is the supporting cast : lemon, sugar syrup, lengthened with cloudy apple. We add a little soda for sparkle – garnished with mint.
