Whisky Black Sour
Coming soon. One of our latest cocktails under development.
Now for the fun bit. Choosing your cocktail menu! You may have already read that we generally run with a cocktail menu of 5+2 : that’s a choice of 5 cocktails and 2 non-alchoholic mocktails. Some customers opt for a menu of 6 cocktails instead.
We will put together a menu for you to suit your guests. Over the years, we’ve learned what people like. We’ll ask you for the age profile of your guests and the female : male split. We’ll put together a suggested menu to fit. A hen party menu for a group of hens will look very different for a gentleman’s 70th birthday party for instance.
On the next few pages you will find mention of some of the cocktails we supply. Hopefully, it’ll whet your appetite. And if anything in particular stands out as a must have, let us know. We’d encourage you to try some new cocktails from our list alongside your favourites. Who knows? We may just introduce you to your new favourite cocktail. In the meantime, we’ll work on coming up with a suggested menu for you all.
Bourbon, espresso, chocolate bitters, simple syrup, orange oil
A great take on your Old-Fashioned. Quality bourbon brought up to date with a little coffee, and some funky chocolate bitters, plus some sugar syrup stirred it. It’s all about the bourbon. A great sipper.
Vodka, simple syrup, lime juice, watermelon juice
A great cocktail for summer. And pretty easy to make. Neutral Vodka based with Rubicon watermelon juice as the star ingredient. Add a little simple syrup and lime juice for balance. Beautiful and good for you right?
Pedro Ximinez sherry, Talisker malt whisky, angostura bitters, orange oil
A fantastic modern take on one of the famous cocktails. Rich raisiny tones from PX sherry are combined with the lingering smokiness of the malt whisky. And breathe in that orange oil on the top. Definitely full-on flavour.
Salted Caramel vodka, Brandy, Crème de Cacao, cream
A great ‘on trend’ cocktail concoction combining fashionable salted caramel vodka with classic brandy, plus dark crème de cacao with it’s hint of chocolate, and cream. A real smoothie.
Brandy, dry vermouth, Galliano, Mandarine Napoleon, champagne
This is a nice albeit with a slightly complex flavour. A little brandy combines with French vermouth, and mandarin liqueur, with a dash of the distinctive Italian Galliano liqueur. Topped with champagne. Gorgeous.
Rye whisky, Jack Daniels honey liqueur, cinnamon syrup, black walnut bitters
A bit of smoky sweetness. Perhaps a boys drink and yet this isn’t spirity. With a base of soft slightly spicy Canadian rye combined with the mellow sweetness of JD honey. We add a little cinnamon to give this a perfectly balanced flavour.
Chase smoked vodka, Chambord black raspberry, pineapple juice, lemon juice
A smoky twist on the 90s classic cocktail. The traditional blend of raspberry, pineapple and vodka is enlivened by a burst of lemon and that brooding touch of smoke.
Frangelico, cream, dark crème de cacao
A delicious and smooth cocktail. Ideal for kicking back in Winter. The cream combines well with the chocolate flavour of the dark, rich creme de cacao and the frangelico adds some unctuous hazlenuttyness to it too.
