Cream, Crème de Menthe, Crème de Cacao
A creamy concoction combining 3 classic ingredients : cool minty crème de menthe, white crème de cacao with it’s hint of chocolate, and cream. A real smoothie.
Now for the fun bit. Choosing your cocktail menu! You may have already read that we generally run with a cocktail menu of 5+2 : that’s a choice of 5 cocktails and 2 non-alchoholic mocktails. Some customers opt for a menu of 6 cocktails instead.
We will put together a menu for you to suit your guests. Over the years, we’ve learned what people like. We’ll ask you for the age profile of your guests and the female : male split. We’ll put together a suggested menu to fit. A hen party menu for a group of hens will look very different for a gentleman’s 70th birthday party for instance.
On the next few pages you will find mention of some of the cocktails we supply. Hopefully, it’ll whet your appetite. And if anything in particular stands out as a must have, let us know. We’d encourage you to try some new cocktails from our list alongside your favourites. Who knows? We may just introduce you to your new favourite cocktail. In the meantime, we’ll work on coming up with a suggested menu for you all.
Cream, Crème de Menthe, Crème de Cacao
A creamy concoction combining 3 classic ingredients : cool minty crème de menthe, white crème de cacao with it’s hint of chocolate, and cream. A real smoothie.
Gooseberry gin, St. Germain elderflower, Noilly Prat dry vermouth
Beautiful new in-house created cocktail. A proper Martini with gin and vermouth. The subtlety of the gooseberry is brought out by the sweetness of the elderflower liqueur. A great cocktail for an English Summer.
Frangelico, cream, dark crème de cacao
A delicious and smooth cocktail. Ideal for kicking back in Winter. The cream combines well with the chocolate flavour of the dark, rich creme de cacao and the frangelico adds some unctuous hazlenuttyness to it too.
Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, Prosecco
One of the famous champagne style cocktails from the Prohibition era. Tangy and slightly floral gin combines well with the sharpness of the lemon & the sweetness of our simple syrup. Topped with fizz. This is quite simply unbelievably good, better even than the sum of it’s parts.
Baileys Irish Cream, Espresso coffee, vodka
The latest ‘in’ cocktail. Destined to be a classic, combining creamy Baileys with the velvety sharpness of coffee, balanced out with a touch of vodka. A rich one for sipping.
Espresso coffee, Vodka, Kahlua, Crème de Cacao
A modern day classic cocktail fresh out of the 90s, with a twist. Based on coffee, including both the natural product and the addition of the coffeeness of Kahlua. A vodka base, we use vanilla vodka, and a little chocolatey crème de cacao to finish it with a little sweetness. Smooth and enlivening.
Gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, sugar syrup, pressed apple juice, soda water, mint
Ok, so this cocktail has lots of ingredients. But this is Summer in a glass. Ever so fashionable gin combines well with the taste of elderflower. The rest is the supporting cast : lemon, sugar syrup, lengthened with cloudy apple. We add a little soda for sparkle – garnished with mint.
Brandy, Pear vodka, Monin pear syrup
A full-on hardcore cocktail. This is spirity combining the pear flavoured vodka with the warming, winter tones of French brandy. Add a little pear syrup to add some sweetness and balance.
Vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, lime
Sex in the City gave a shot to this fantastically balanced drink. Vodka is lifted by the addition of the orange tones of warming Cointreau. Cranberry gives a distinctive pink hue and a little lime cordial adds rich sweetness.
Lemon gin, Martini Fiero vermouth, rosehip bitter liqueur
Another great version of a classic cocktail – the Negroni. This one has some citrus though. Beautiful Malfy lemon gin, combined with the slightly orangey notes of Martini Fiero. Plus some bitter and complex Sacred rosehip liqueur to remind you of Summer.
