” The Cocktail Shaker Boys came to speak at our Group WI meeting in April. In total 50 of us enjoyed a highly entertaining evening with Andrew and Steve, who are both slick presenters with a great sense of humour. They expounded the history of cocktails, the components used, how they are made and most importantly, we tested some cocktails and mocktails during the evening! Their core business, started 12 years ago, is providing a cocktail service at parties and weddings and some of our members may now be asking them to provide their service at special events. A memorable night!”

THEIR FIRST FACE-TO-FACE MEETING POST COVID. “It was nice to actually meet you both in person, last Tuesday. Our members found your interesting and informative talk on the history of, and making of cocktails, most entertaining. They certainly enjoyed the mini cocktail samples at the end!”

“Having seen a previous WI group say that they had a zoom cocktail evening, we decided it would be a nice fun evening for our WI to try out.  We contacted the Cocktail Shaker Boys, and went ahead and booked.

It was a great evening – as lockdown had been eased, we were able to meet in others houses in small groups, and this worked well on Zoom.  It was great to get a list of ingredients beforehand, and we pooled our resources.

The Cocktail Shaker Boys delivered an excellent session.  Easy to follow, very informative, and at a good pace which enabled us to make them along with them at the same time as the demonstration.  You could otherwise just watch, and create later.

Would highly recommend them, for a nice evening activity with friends. Next time we would arrange for a Friday night though “

“What can I say but thank you for a wonderful evening last night? We had a great time and your promise of learning how to make two cocktails certainly enticed some of our zoom shy members out to play!  We have received great feedback from all our members that took part last night. Some have gone to invest in cocktails shakers and glasses whilst others were busy adding triple sec and white rum to their click and collect shopping bags. We were also really pleased that you showed us a mocktail recipe as we have a few ladies that don’t drink alcohol. 

I can’t recommend your zoom night highly enough. We felt it was great value for money (words our treasurer doesn’t say quite so enthusiastically normally!), there was something for everyone and we had a really great time. 

I also think its important to say that prior to the evening all the communication that we had was very efficient, every question and query answered really quickly helping us to plan for the evening. Thank you so much for a great evening.”

“I would like to thank Andrew and Steve for helping me shake off the Jam and Jerusalem image of the W.I. They came to our group in January, a very dry and boring month, and shook everything about !! We had lots of visitors at what proved to be an informative, tasty and very funny talk. Andrew and Steve are both very knowledgeable and kept everyone’s attention the whole time. We will definitely be having them back and some of us will be using them for parties in the very near future. Oh and by the way the cocktails were lush !! “

The ladies have said how much they enjoyed your talk ….it was just the right amount of Information on the ingredients that are used for making Cocktails …..showing us how to mix them properly and all done with a great sense of humour..
They loved the way that you had made the cocktail samples up in the little bottles with straws and the mocktails in the little shot glasses… you handed the samples out very professionally but making it fun and it was just right to go with the party food….
but I have to say Andrew I look forward to the next time you and Steve do your act…. I will have no problem recommending The Cocktail Shaker Boys to anyone….. Thank you once again”
