Rusty Nail

Scotch whisky, Drambuie, stem ginger, orange bitters

Our take on a classic 2 ingredient cocktail. The balance of scotch whisky with the sweetness of Drambuie’s whisky and heather honey is fantastic. We offer to add a little stem ginger and some orange bitters to give it more complexity. But they’re optional of course.

Rhubarb Martini

Rhubarb gin, rosato vermouth, rhubarb syrup, rhubarb bitters

Great cocktail for Spring and warmer days. A modern cocktail based around our local Warner’s rhubarb gin. What’s not to like? Traditional Martini : gin and vermouth, with a little rhubarb sweetness, balanced with rhubarb bitters.

The Last Word

Gin, green chartreuse, Maraschino, lime

This is one potent cocktail. Big on spirit. Big on flavour too. The floral gin combines with a shot of green Chartreuse. Add to this more of the almondyness of the maraschino and a dash of lime. A slow sipper.

Strawberry Martini

Gin, Chamberyzette strawberry vermouth, raspberry syrup

Our own in-house developed cocktail based around the classic Martini with fruity summery flavours. Gin based, with a predominant strawberry flavour from the chamberyzette. A little raspberry pep gives a hint of fruity sweetness.

Whiskey Sour

Bourbon whiskey, simple syrup, lemon juice, angostura bitters

One of the old classics. Very simple formula, combining spirit with a little sweetness from the sugar, sourness from the lemon and balanced out with a little bitter courtesy of angostura. How pre-Prohibition cocktails used to be.

Lavender Martini

Vanilla vodka, Noilly Prat dry vermouth, lavender syrup

A proper Martini style cocktail, combining subtle vanilla vodka with the classy Noilly Prat dry vermouth. Our twist is that we then add some fragrant lavender syrup to take this humble Martini to another level. Try it, see if you agree.

St. Louis

Brandy, Southern Comfort, peach syrup, peach bitters

For those who like their cocktails spirity, this one is a peach. This is a heady potion combining French brandy, with the gorgeous, warming glow of Southern Comfort.  Add a little peach and you have one smooth and fiery cocktail.

Mai Tai

Golden rum, dark rum, orange curacao, Amaretto, lime juice & grenadine

Double lots of fully flavoured rum, combined with a little orange and di Saronno, balanced out with a little lime and grenadine to give a ruby colour.

Manhattan

Rye whisky, sweet vermouth, angostura bitters

Quite simply a classic. Warming and light whisky shaken with a touch of sweet herbal vermouth, and a couple of drops of bitters to give it a nice mellow aftertaste. One for the boys?

Jam Doughnut

Vodka, Raspberry vodka, crème de framboise, raspberry syrup

A great new cocktail based around the unctuous taste of raspberry.  A double dose of vodka, set off with a classic French raspberry liqueur gives this cocktail bite. All underlined with a further dash of sweet raspberry syrup.
