On the High Seas
Coming soon. One of our latest cocktails under development.
Now for the fun bit. Choosing your cocktail menu! You may have already read that we generally run with a cocktail menu of 5+2 : that’s a choice of 5 cocktails and 2 non-alchoholic mocktails. Some customers opt for a menu of 6 cocktails instead.
We will put together a menu for you to suit your guests. Over the years, we’ve learned what people like. We’ll ask you for the age profile of your guests and the female : male split. We’ll put together a suggested menu to fit. A hen party menu for a group of hens will look very different for a gentleman’s 70th birthday party for instance.
On the next few pages you will find mention of some of the cocktails we supply. Hopefully, it’ll whet your appetite. And if anything in particular stands out as a must have, let us know. We’d encourage you to try some new cocktails from our list alongside your favourites. Who knows? We may just introduce you to your new favourite cocktail. In the meantime, we’ll work on coming up with a suggested menu for you all.
Tanqueray Sevilla gin, Martini Fiero, Aperol
A light twist on the classic Negroni. One of the most popular cocktails in the world right now. Our twist is to add in fashionable Aperol for a light touch of bitter and the orangey Fiero which works well with Sevilla gin.
Gin, creme de peche, dry vermouth, peach bitters
A nice sipping cocktail which has some depth to it. Gin is always a great base for a Martini. Add some gently sweet creme de peche peach liqueur with some classic french dry vermouth and a few drops of peach bitters.
Mango vodka, Passoa passionfruit liqueur, Passionfruit puree, lime juice, Prosecco
A hen party must. One of the world’s most popular cocktails. We make ours with mango vodka for a subtle point of difference. Passionfruit liqueur and puree give this a great sharp and sweet flavour. A little lime to cut through the sweetness and then your shot of Prosecco on the side.
Two Birds raspberry vodka, Punt e Mes vermouth, raspberry syrup
Another classic Martini but with a modern twist. Two Birds is an authentic raspberry vodka. Combines well with the bitterness of the Italian Punt e Mes red vermouth and the sweetness of raspberry syrup. Unctious.
Bourbon, espresso, chocolate bitters, simple syrup, orange oil
A great take on your Old-Fashioned. Quality bourbon brought up to date with a little coffee, and some funky chocolate bitters, plus some sugar syrup stirred it. It’s all about the bourbon. A great sipper.
Rhubarb gin, rosato vermouth, rhubarb syrup, rhubarb bitters
Great cocktail for Spring and warmer days. A modern cocktail based around our local Warner’s rhubarb gin. What’s not to like? Traditional Martini : gin and vermouth, with a little rhubarb sweetness, balanced with rhubarb bitters.
Rye whisky, Jack Daniels honey liqueur, cinnamon syrup, black walnut bitters
A bit of smoky sweetness. Perhaps a boys drink and yet this isn’t spirity. With a base of soft slightly spicy Canadian rye combined with the mellow sweetness of JD honey. We add a little cinnamon to give this a perfectly balanced flavour.
Lanique rose liqueur, Martini rosato vermouth, rose syrup, rhubarb bitters
A traditional Martini with a modern twist. Think spirity Martini meets Turkish delight. Beautiful rose tinted Lanique mixes with the fruity rosato vermouth. Add a little rose syrup to bring out the rose flavour and some fruity bitters to cut through the sweetness.
