It takes around 14 days to plan out your cocktail party and make it perfect.
It is true that we often end up planning out parties with less notice than that. However the secret of success is in the planning and there are a few key things to sort out to make sure the cocktails at your event hit the spot.
Where does the plan start?
First we’ll send you an outline quote based on the number of people you’re expecting, where you are (as we may need a little extra to cover fuel) and the date of the event. We need to check if we’re available of course. If you already know these details drop them into our contact us page and we’ll do the rest.
Once you’ve agreed to the plan and the fee, we can start work on the fun bit – putting together a suggested menu for you. We will probably ask the age range of the guests and the female : male split. This helps us come up with something appropriate.
We also need to chat to our team members to find out who is available on your date.
When you’re happy with the menu, we’ll then put together an order for all your cocktail ingredients. Usually this is fairly straightforward, but in this post-Covid world it’s taking longer as some ingredients aren’t available at all, or are on long lead times. We ask for payment of the initial deposit at this stage too. Your booking is then locked in.
We also get your cocktail menus printed up for you, so that everything looks great on the day and your guests know what cocktails are available.
Admittedly the rest of the arrangements can all be done within the last day or so. However as you can see there is a bit of planning that needs to go into making your event and your cocktails perfect. Cheers!
