Our chef partner Roy Shortland who is the other half of our Ultimate Night in has been busy.
You may have followed the 2013 Autumn series of BBC’s Great British Bake-Off and seen local woman Frances Quinn win the final. As a local of course, we’re immensely proud of her achievements. What you won’t know though is that our man Roy Shortland the party chef extraordinaire was her coach for the latter stages of the competition. So lots of burning the candle …… Still, it was well worth it in the end!

Roy Shortland – top chef for your ultimate night in
Roy Shortland bio : He trained as a chef in London, and he’s been cooking for over 25 years working in high class hotels, restaurants and a Two Michelin star restaurant for several years.
As well as running his own dinner party at home business, he works closely providing consultancy to Mars Foods UK. He is also head tutor at Bridge 67 cookery school and loves mentoring young cooks. Frankly what he doesn’t know about cookery and pastry in particular isn’t worth knowing.
