Rubicon fruit juices are a great ingredient in summer cocktails. We use them a lot when creating new cocktails and the current summer weather is the ideal time to stock up. They are real juices – not from concentrate and they combine well with other juices, mixers and spirits.
Cocktail Shaker Boys land in London for a weekend of bar hopping or R&D as we like to call it. We met some great people and drunk, sipped and discussed some great cocktails. Hopefully back soon!
Cocktail Shaker Boys visit London to try out some of the world’s great cocktail bars in London. Reports will follow, but for us we’re looking forward to sitting the other side of the bar and picking up lots of new tips, ideas, cocktails, ingredients and generally getting up to speed with our mixology.
We love making cocktails and serving them to your guests at your party. That bit you know. We also like trying out new cocktails : some we develop ourselves, some we get from cocktail books, magazines, a bloke at the bus stop, by text from a friend in a bar etc.
Us Cocktail Shaker Boys were pleased to have met the ladies at the Wootton Village Boutique last week to help them celebrate their first year of trading. So as the ladies shopped, we were there on hand to dish out the Cosmopolitans, the Mojitos, the Icelandic Sea Breezes and the Tequila Sunrises. Oh yes and a couple of cracking mocktails were on the menu too including our own OMD – orange, mango and a dash of lime.
The first ever Kibworth Jubilee Food Festival takes place on Sunday, yes this Sunday 10th June at the Old Grammar School in Kibworth, South Leicestershire. It runs from 12 – 4 and is an interactive food and drink event showcasing local businesses. We’re excited to have been given the chance to play and so we’ll have a range of cocktail samples for you to try on the day.
