We’re always on the look out for new ideas. We appreciate that you may want to stick to what you know you like. We regularly serve platoons of Cosmopolitans and Mojitos. Great, classic cocktails for good reason. But we’re also interested in finding out what else is out there. What other things we can offer you our clients. To stimulate your tastebuds and hopefully give you flavour experiences you’ve not had before.
Imbibe Live
Attending the annual Imbibe Live show at Olympia is a great way of finding out what new products are out there. Sampling them of course and chatting to distillers, wholesalers and bartenders. Some of the best products and ideas then work their way onto our cocktail menus. Once they’ve passed all the relevant taste-tests of course (hic!)
2 of the stars of this years show for our head mixologist were Lanique, a rose petal liqueur. This is a fantastic product, and unlike anything else. We tried mixing it with Chambord black raspberry and Prosecco and you know what?! Yes, it is as good as it sounds.
The other liqueur that has great potential is Solerno blood orange liqueur. We’re gonna try mixing that in some orange orientated cocktails in place of other stuff. So how about in a Margarita? Yes, we think it’s worth a try.
And we also tried some of Funkin’s new syrups ; jalapeno is on order as is smoke syrup. Yes really to mix with bourbon. We’ll let you know.
If you want some rockin’ cocktails on your menu for your forthcoming party or event and you’re up for something different, let us know. We enjoy a little liquid alchemy. You can contact us on fun@cocktailshakerboys.co.uk or call us on the phone 01858 898154. We’re good to go.
